Mischa Stimac
Go Fish- 2005
Review By Tiny Elvis
This is a definite must buy album from Kailua-Kona, Hawaii’s Mischa Stimac. The moment you pop this
little dilly in your player you are drawn to the sweet voice of Mischa. Vocal Layering and harmonies of the chorus on “Every
Little Thing” are chilling and interestingly enchanting. There is this overwhelming feeling that this should be on the
radio or at least presented in some form so that others can appreciate this bands talents for songwriting. You get that impression
with track 2’s “Go Fish”. “Hopelessly Waiting” is orchestrated almost perfectly to pray on emotions
with cunning and charm. The verse to chorus transition is a buildup of energy again released by harmonies and vocal layering
that transitions you to thoughts of romantic yearnings. This is all made possible by some talented and ingenious band mates
like Ian Thomson (electric and acoustic guitar), Christina Thomson’s sleek background vocals, Daniel Stimac’s
Bass and cavalcade of other instruments, all along with Rene De Vries’ Drums and Piano. Mischa is an amazing singer
song writer that can rock it as well on the guitar. She isn’t just another pretty face with a guitar (oh and she is
absolutely gorgeous by the way) but a talent that is waiting to be discovered and that moment can’t be far away.
